Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: September 11, 2026 • Effective date: September 11, 2026
1. Purpose & Platform Integrity
CareerWin is built on an unwavering commitment to truth in career storytelling. We believe genuine, verifiable professional accomplishments consistently outperform synthetic exaggeration.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the mandatory rules of conduct governing all users of CareerWin, our web application, desktop software, browser extensions, and APIs (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP in full.
2. Truth in Career Evidence & Anti-Fabrication Standards
You agree that all career collateral, resumes, work histories, project metrics, credentials, and answers you submit to the Service will be truthful, accurate, and correct. You are expressly prohibited from using the Service to:
- Fabricate, forge, or inflate employment dates, company names, or job titles.
- Claim unearned university degrees, counterfeit academic credentials, or false grade point averages.
- Misrepresent government security clearances, professional licenses, or technical certifications.
- Invent fictional revenue metrics, non-existent budgets, or false team sizes.
- Submit resumes or profiles misrepresenting the identity of another living individual.
3. Employer Confidentiality, Trade Secrets & NDA Protections
CareerWin takes corporate intellectual property and confidentiality agreements with utmost seriousness. You represent, warrant, and agree that:
- No Trade Secret Disclosure: You will never submit, upload, paste, or dictate any proprietary trade secret, unreleased product roadmap, non-public corporate financial statement, confidential client list, internal source code, or proprietary algorithm owned by any current, former, or prospective employer.
- Strict NDA Compliance: You warrant that your use of the Service and all information disclosed by you complies fully with all Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Proprietary Information and Inventions Agreements (PIIAs), employment contracts, and fiduciary duties you owe to any third party.
- High-Level Abstraction: When describing technical architectures or business outcomes, you agree to describe your personal role, strategic methodology, and public results at an appropriate executive level of abstraction without disclosing proprietary corporate know-how.
CareerWin disclaims any duty to review your submitted content for employer confidentiality compliance. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THAT YOUR SUBMISSIONS DO NOT VIOLATE ANY CONFIDENTIALITY OBLIGATIONS.
4. Prohibited Technical & Automated Activities
You may not engage in any activity that damages, disrupts, overburdens, or compromises the security or integrity of our infrastructure. Specifically, you agree never to:
- Scrape, crawl, harvest, index, or extract data from the Service using automated scripts, spiders, bots, or web scrapers.
- Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, decrypt, or attempt to derive the source code, proprietary algorithms, scoring rubrics, or prompt architecture of CareerWin.
- Circumvent, disable, or tamper with security controls, rate limiters, token metering, paywalls, or authentication mechanisms.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems or networks without express prior written authorization from CareerWin AI LLC.
- Transmit or upload any virus, worm, Trojan horse, malware, or malicious code.
- Resell, sublicense, distribute, or operate a commercial bureau or service using CareerWin accounts without a signed enterprise agreement.
- Use the Service, browser companions, or associated APIs to execute unreviewed, automated mass applications (botting or autonomous application spamming) across employer portals. All applications require affirmative candidate review and manual submission.
5. Respectful & Lawful Platform Conduct
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or harassing purpose, including:
- Generating defamatory, libellous, hate speech, or harassing communications targeting recruiters, hiring managers, or former colleagues.
